DAN A. ROBIN, JR.
Bio
Attorney Dan A. Robin, Jr. knew from an early age that he wanted to become a lawyer. As the oldest of three children to two parents who worked with the legal justice system, Dan understood the importance of giving each person the best chance at a successful future, no matter how difficult their situation may be.
Dan began college at Tulane University, graduating in 1993 with a B.A. in Political Science. During his undergraduate career, Dan was also a member of the Tulane baseball team (1989 – 1990), playing for Coach Joe Brockhoff. Following his graduation, he attended Tulane University School of Law.
During his time in law school, Dan was recognized and awarded for an argument he presented. He was also inducted into the Civil Litigation Clinic during his third year of law school, allowing him to temporarily practice law in Louisiana and represent clients without resources who needed legal services. While at the clinic, Dan took part in settling an injury claim, obtaining what was the largest monetary award achieved at the time.
Following his graduation from law school, Dan began his legal career representing insurance companies in personal injury claims at the firm of Longenecker & Associates. The small firm took on many cases, keeping Dan busy learning the ins and outs of insurance claims—skills he continues to use today in representing clients at the Law Offices of Dan A. Robin, Jr.
Since 2000, Dan has handled thousands of cases, helping injury victims obtain the compensation they needed. He has also represented victims of sexual assault. His skills have helped clients obtain millions of dollars in damage awards. Later, Dan began representing clients in cases of criminal allegations. In 2010, he represented a high-profile case defending someone who was accused of a firearm offense. Following rejection of a plea deal, his client was unanimously found not guilty.
